2026 INS AND OUTS

HEYYYY! Happy last day of 2025. This year has honestly taught be a lot about myself and I have gained a lot of experience doing different things I enjoy, incoorporating habits that keep me centered and productive and letting go of things that are draining.
In 2026 I want to stay on top of the things I have purposely drifted from as I continue to stive to be the best version of myself.
I created a 2026 Bingo Card with wellness habits and challenged I would like to try and will write blogs about how they are going throughout the year.
Some of the highlights are:
read 24 books
this means 2 books a month. I was really into reading spring semester and want to get back into it. I love a good romance book but I also want to read some self help books as well.
run a half marathon
The most I have run consecutively without stopping was 7.3 miles. By run a half marathon, I don't mean in a race. I just want to run one on a random day to prove to myself that I can.
do a pull up
I have progressively gotten stronger however I still can't do a pullup so it is something I want to train.
do the rec classes
At school I really only talk to people on my team and I think that trying these classes would be a great way to do different types of workouts but mostly meet new people.
In 2026 I want to stay on top of good habits! These include:
going for walks
trying red light therapy
waking up with the sun
going to be early
a good skincare routine.
Other goals
Something I haven't done that I want to do in the morning is make my bed. I think holding myself accountable to do this just starts the day off right.
I want to try to keep my room clean because it will help set me up for being more comfortable in my personal space.
I was doing so good writing in my journal and I don't think I have written in it in 2 months now. I really want to start this again.
This year my biggest goal is to invest more time in my interests. I am going to start a book about being an athlete and the different pivotal moments that have impacted my mentality, stay consistent with my blog, test out podcasting, and post more consistently on tik tok and youtube.
The things I want to drop in the New Year are:
going on my phone as soon as I wake up
I do mostly wake up with the sun which I love, however the first thing I do is go on my phone. I want to detach more and have a morning routine without my phone.
time spent on social media/meaningless screen time
By this I mean the doom scrolling and wasting time without a goal. I want to shift my social media usage to limited time catching up on people I follow and more for just being informed or posting/creating content of my own
2026 will be a very pivotal year for me.
I will finish my last season of college soccer and prepare to graduate. I really want to use this year to devote time into myself and this semester I have a pretty light class load in comparison to previous semesters. I am really looking forward to trying to maintain these new goals and trying new things this year.
As I make my journey through the bingo card, I will write about each experience and how it made me feel.
Other than these new wellness habits, I hope to travel and learn a lot in 2026.
