Happy October! I want to start by describing the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness to me.

My mother had Breast Cancer when I was young and it really put into perspective what its like to be scared for someone you love. My mom is truly my best friend and has been my biggest supporter and someone I can tell ANYTHING to. How cliche right? NO but seriously anything. This game represents to me the strength my mom has and how important it is to be there for the people you love. I love getting to play in these games year after year.

My family donated these cute pink warmup shirts that we are wearing and I wrote Mom on my leg.

REMINDER to remember to tell the one you love that you love them and stay present in the moment. TAKE EVERY SECOND YOU HAVE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND CHERISH IT.

Cancer unfortunately is something that is common and we have to make the most always.

I am beyond grateful my mom overcame Breast Cancer.

To anyone battling any type of Cancer right now, YOU ARE STRONG and YOU GOT THIS.
