ON THE ROAD!!

How I prepare for road trips, November 20, 2025

HEY! This ones a fun one. When we are in season it feels like we are always traveling and packing our bags. We had a few flights this semester and lots of longgggggg road trips. SO one must be prepared. Lets break down the essentials

Charger:

a must. Especially when the road trip requires sleeping in a hotel<br>

Pillow and blanket:

the bus gets cold and gotta stay comfy of course

A Book:

in case I wanna read

My Macbook:

In order to not fall behind with classes plus watching netflix (mostly netflix)

I guess I should obviously say all my soccer stuff...:

dont be like charlotte and forget your cleats and shinguards (twice)<br>

Headphones:

I forgot my beats several times.. sad days I love listening to music

SNACKS:

the last thing anyone wants is hangry Kaitlyn

I'll keep thinking and update this.. Im sure I forgot a lot..

Being on the road with teammates is always so fun. I love the overnight trips and getting to spend more time off the field with my friends.

Takeaway: PACK IN ADVANCE

Some of our bus rides were 4 hours there and 4 hours back the same day. Be prepared and keep yourself busy. Also theres no better

time to do homework then when your on a bus with nothing to do sooooo LOCK IN;)
